“The vivid color and beautiful grain unique to Noto Hiba”

Compared with other woods, Noto Hiba takes on a more vivid color when finished with Yamanaka lacquer, and its grain is delicate and beautiful.
So, taking the time to dry the wood and finish it with precise turning, we brought to life a tumbler made of Noto Hiba, a wood that is very rare in lacquerware.

“A one-of-a-kind tumbler”

With the wood grain showing through, a hallmark of Yamanaka lacquerware, each tumbler has its own distinct look, and choosing a one-of-a-kind piece is part of the fun.
The matte finish lets you appreciate the texture of natural wood even more.

Refined beauty with colored lacquer

Yamanaka lacquer craftspeople carefully finished each piece using a specially blended lacquer.
The colored lacquer adds refined beauty and improved heat resistance, making this a product you can use for many years.
