[Caring for Your Magewappa Bentwood Ware]
● Detergent is fine. Oily stains come off cleanly.
After use, remove dirt with kitchen detergent and a soft sponge, without scrubbing hard.
* Do not use hard sponges, scrub brushes, or abrasive cleanser.
● Stand it up and dry it thoroughly
After washing, wipe off the moisture well, then stand it up and let it dry thoroughly.

<Careful craftsmanship by artisans>
The parts of a magewappa are made from the straight-grain (masame) cut of the cedar, which has the most beautiful growth-ring pattern among cedar timber.
That straight-grain section is shaved thin, softened in hot water, then quickly bent to fit a mold and dried.
The dried wappa is stitched together with cherry bark, the base is fitted in without the slightest gap, and it is finished by sanding.
