"Sanka" is a pair of dishwasher-safe Wakasa lacquerware chopsticks that draws on the techniques of Wakasa lacquerware, the traditional craft representing Obama, and is finished to suit modern life.

The deep color and sheen unique to Wakasa lacquerware live within the lacquer. Each time light falls on them, golden sparkles emerge as if flowers were blossoming. This pair of chopsticks adds an elegant touch of brilliance to the table.

Unlike traditional Wakasa lacquerware chopsticks, which often have showy patterns based on red or black, "Sanka" is designed to bring out the shine of gold and mother-of-pearl, and the refinement that glows from deep within the lacquer.

By layering lacquer, the mother-of-pearl shines softly, as if through a haze, while the golden base appears on the surface like sparkling light. The result is a refined finish that is not flashy and blends naturally into everyday meals.
