Furoshiki Shinra Bansho (All Things in the Universe), Red

Jainism, which arose in India in the 6th century BCE, teaches asceticism, non-violence, and non-possession, and holds that its foundation is to feel reverence and love for all things in the universe. The elephant that Masaki Kutani chose as his design source is regarded as a messenger of the gods in India and is often depicted as a distinctive mural on the walls of Jain temples. His award-winning works from poster exhibitions around the world have been made into a large furoshiki.
