○ Features of NEU

・Mitsuishi roseki (agalmatolite), also gathered in Bizen, is mixed with the traditional hiyose paddy clay and mountain clay of Bizen ware. While keeping the soft, highly breathable character of paddy clay, blending in roseki further increases the sturdiness of the vessel.
Also, although it uses a glaze that is rare for Bizen ware, the glaze is limited to half of the vessel so that the pleasant feel of the traditional clay remains.

○ A practical size and shape
With a capacity of about 180 ml (about 9 tenths full), it has the same shape as a traditional soba choko, a standard form that has long been familiar.
It feels good on the lips, and its clean, simple look suits both Japanese and Western settings.
